This is Lil Wayne. He is a rap artist, mediocre skateboarder, and face tattoo connoisseur. He is also a sports fan, and since he was raised in New Orleans, one would expect him to be an avid Saints and Pelicans fan. (Pelican fandom seems especially appropriate considering that his partner behind the microphone is named Birdman.) But the self proclaimed “best rapper alive” is what those of us in the sports world tend to call a “bandwagoner”—a fan who latches on to whatever team is hot and rides them until their star fades (or until he’s denied entry to their home court because he doesn’t actually have a ticket).

The Bayou native lists the Los Angeles Lakers, Green Bay Packers and Boston Red Sox as a few of his favorite teams. You know, the ones rarely found at the bottom of the standings. But the NBA is where Weezy truly struts his four-star fairweather fan-ity.
