Top NFL Prospect Myles Garrett Expresses His Intense Love for Tacos
With the NFL Draft just a few short months away, Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett has quickly emerged as the player most draft experts feel should be the consensus No. 1 pick. The 6-foot-5, 270-pound pass rusher is like a cannonball when he shoots off the edge, and whatever team drafts him, whether it’s the Cleveland Browns at No. 1 or someone else, they’ll be getting a physical specimen who should wreak havoc in the backfield for years to come. They’ll also be getting a man who loves tacos as much as anything else in life.
In a piece entitled “Goodbye, Aggieland,” which Garrett wrote for The Player’s Tribune, the junior outlines all the things he’ll miss about being an Aggie and living in College Station, Texas. It’s all warm and sentimental and touching, but the most important part comes near the end, when Garrett professes his undying love for a certain taco restaurant on campus. From the piece:
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention something else I’ll miss deeply: Fuego, the finest taco dispensary on the planet. Those tacos were always there for me when I needed them most. Wherever I end up next, I will do whatever I can to make sure that Fuego opens a franchise in that city. This is something that is very important to me.

Those are strong feelings about a local taco joint, but they appear to be warranted. Fuego has a four-star rating on Yelp, and its menu boasts items such as the Dr. Pepper Cowboy, a taco that contains brisket, grilled onions and chipotle cream corn smothered in Dr. Pepper BBQ sauce. Yes, please.
Any and all cities whose NFL franchises will be drafting in the top five might want to get to work on the construction of a Fuego as soon as possible so Garrett can get his taco fix.
