With the NBA Playoffs just around the corner, adidas has released a new colorway of Derrick Rose’s adiZero Rose. 2.5. New shoe releases enable Rose, who has been out for much of the season with a groin injury, to maintain a connection to his hometown and to fans of the adiRose sneaker line.
The adiZero Rose. 2.5 Playoff colorway pays homage to the Chicago Bulls’ tradition of wearing black shoes throughout the NBA Playoffs—both at home and away games. The shoe features a blend of gray patent leather on the the toe with black nubuck across the midfoot, finished off with a black on gray speckled pattern around the midsole (inspired by the intensity level of the post-season) and, of course, adidas’s signature three stripes on the heel, complete with red accents.
