There’s no slowing the trend of limited edition college football uniforms. That’s clear now, after big-time programs like Nebraska and Wisconsin have released images of their new adidas uniforms for their “Quick and the Dead” game on Sept. 29.
If you thought a school like Notre Dame would be exempt from the trend, you’d be wrong. Notre Dame and adidas have released images of new adidas TECHFIT uniforms the Irish will wear for their “Shamrock Series” game against the University of Miami at Soldier Field in Chicago on Oct. 6.
The new Notre Dame unis are much, much different from the  gold helmets and simple look your parents remember. The two-tone helmet features the  Leprechaun on one side and gold on the other. The Leprechaun logo is also visible on the adizero Smoke gloves.
