We can’t believe the NBA season is at its midway mark, but it means All-Star Weekend is just around the corner [Feb. 18-21]. To celebrate the star-studded weekend, we expect to see many top shoe companies release sneaker collaborations. One hot release is a collaboration from adidas Originals and hip-hop artist Snoop Dogg, called the Freemont Mid.
Always one to show his hometown pride, Snoop Dogg made sure the Freemont Mid would sport Lakers purple and gold. Mixed with premium tumbled black leather and tonal mesh, the purple and gold is found in suede detailing along the eyestay, heel and collar. Topping it off, a set of eyes inspired by the graphics from Snoop’s classic 1993 LP Doggystyle sits on the top of the tongue.
The Freemont Mid, retail price $90, will be sold exclusively at shiekhshoes.com, beginning Feb. 11.
