Though the Nets lost the game 129-125, Lopez kept it close all night. He finished with 36 points, 8 blocks and four rebounds. He became the first player in NBA history to record eight blocks and six 3-pointers in a game. Previously, no player had more than two 3-pointers in an 8-block game.

Despite his appearance on several posters this season, the 7-footer is still averaging 1.8 blocks per game.
