Edmonton Oilers wing Matt Hendricks has been in the NHL for 10 years. And throughout those years, he has experienced many memorable moments. But what he did Thursday night against the Dallas Stars has to be one of the scariest moment in his career.

In the second period of the game, a Stars defenseman hit a slap shot right into Hendricks’ tender area, below the belt. He immediately dropped to the ice in a fetal position, like any man would.
Thankfully, Hendricks was wearing a cup. You can see how fast and hard the puck was flying by looking at the huge indent in the cup. He’s one lucky guy.
