DeMarcus Cousins and Chris Paul do not get along. The two have a history of incidents that clearly confirm their dislike for each other. Cousins once pulled his former teammate Isaiah Thomas away from a post-game handshake with Paul, and CP3 responded by saying Cousins “needed guidance.” A series of verbal jabs followed that run-in, which set the stage for a heated match-up last night in Sacramento.

Late in the fourth quarter with the game clearly in the Clippers’ hands, Cousins lost his temper with the scrappy CP3 and drilled him in the back of the head with an overhand baseball-style peg. CP3 was clearly irritated but did not response in anger. He simply walked to the Clippers’ bench with his jaw tightly clenched.

CP3 got the last laugh by dropping 40 points to lead his team to victory.
