Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson Gets His Very Own Shoe From Under Armour
It was easy to make fun of Steph Curry’s shoe. When the all-white, softball-after-work-esque Under Armour Curry 2 “Chef” dropped a few months back, everyone ganged up on it. Twitter dragged it through the mud. Websites roasted it. Hannibal Burress gave it the death knell at the 2016 ESPYs. So what did UA do next? They made a shoe for a man you wouldn’t dare make fun of, lest you be hit with The People’s Elbow.

[instagram src=”https://www.instagram.com/p/BIvutPkDkd5/”]Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, objectively the strongest person in the entire universe, took to Instagram to give us a sneak peek at what appears to be his signature kicks from Under Armour, complete with his horned logo across the heel and the words “Earn It” and “Blood Sweat Respect” on the right and left tongue, respectively.

Johnson says the kicks in the video are simply a prototype, and he’s been workshopping what we’re going to name The Rock 1 for over a year. We do get an official release date, though. Johnson says his shoe will drop at the top of 2017. Only a few short months before you can get your hands on the former WWE legend’s shoe, or make fun of it at your peril.
