Finally, Proof That LeBron James Really Does Drive a Kia
Despite dozens of commercials to the contrary, the vast majority of Americans still don’t believe that LeBron James, who could drive any car he wanted, would choose to drive a Kia K900. Maybe as a marketing ploy, sure, but people think if they could roll up to LeBron’s mansion in Bath, Ohio, there’d be no Kia in sight.
That narrative can finally be put to rest, thanks to a Snapchat from Richard Jefferson following the Cavs’ sweep of the Atlanta Hawks in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. As the Cavs landed in Cleveland on Sunday night, Jefferson captured his teammate walking toward an all-white Kia that was waiting for him on the tarmac.
“That’s what I respect about you,” Jefferson says in the video. “You come home, eight straight, he’s rocking the Kia. That’s my guy, man. How do I get one of these bad boys?”
LeBron can be seen chuckling at Jefferson’s comments before slipping into the driver’s seat and zooming off into the night. It’s official, America. LeBron James drives a Kia. Accept it. Live with it.
