Giannis Antetokounmpo Blocked a Shot With His Elbow
Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo keeps showing his amazing prowess on the hardwood. When he isn’t gathering his dribble from half-court to dunk or grabbing onto the rim after his feet have already hit the ground, the “Greek Freak” is playing stellar defense.
During Game 3 of the Bucks’ first-round playoff series against the Toronto Raptors, Giannis was again dominant, finishing with 19 points, four assists, eight rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks. And one of his blocks was superhuman. Take a look.

There’s nothing more energizing to a team than a clean block on defense, but the 6-foot-11, 22-year-old didn’t get a clean block. Antetokounmpo jumped over his opponent’s body and used his 7-foot-3 wingspan to block a shot with his elbow. Most players are happy with barely tipping the ball to get a block, but not Giannis.

With 1.9 blocks a game, Giannis led his team in that category during the regular season. Advice to teams playing against the Bucks: stay away from Giannis when shooting. The Bucks won the game 104-77.
