‘GTA V’ PC Preorder Comes with Cash, Free Game
Rockstar is offering some incentives for gamers to pick up the long-awaited PC version of GTA V.
Of course at this point, we’d probably settle for a concrete release date. But the developer is giving gamers who re-order the digital version via retail store Rockstar Warehouse $500,000 worth of in-game cash for use in the title’s story mode, along wth $500,000 for GTA Online.
If you order before Feb. 1, Rockstar will also throw in another $300,000 for GTA Online and a free game. The list of freebie titles is pretty impressive. Fans have their pick among Max Payne 3, LA Noire, Bully: Scholarship Edition, Manhunt, Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne, Midnight Club II, Grand Theft Auto IV, Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, and GTA: Episodes from Liberty City.
The title costs $60. Orders via Rockstar Warehouse require a non-refundable 15 percent deposit. Initially scheduled for fall 2014, the PC version of GTA V was slated to arrive later this month, but the company recently pushed it back to March 24. Let’s hope this date sticks.
