Hopsin Announces ‘Knock Madness Tour’ Dates
Hopsin has announced plans to embark on a new tour in support of his third and possibly final album, Knock Madness. The trek will kick off in mid-January and take the Cali rapper through several cities, including Seattle, Chicago, Detroit, New York City and Boston, before wrapping up March 22 in Los Angeles. Check out the full listing of dates below. Hopsin will be joined by DJ Hoppa and special guests from his Funk Volume label.
Earlier this year, Hop took to Twitter to rant about his displeasure with some of the pressures posed on successful musicians in the business. And during a recent interview with Complex, he echoed those sentiments, revealing he wouldn’t be upset if the forthcoming tour was scrapped.
He said, “The Knock Madness Tour” will be cool, but honestly, I would love right now if they called and said, ‘Hey Hopsin, the Knock Madness Tour is cancelled. Don’t worry, nobody is mad.’ I would be like, ‘Yes!’ I could go skate and be happy…. I love rapping, too. Don’t get me wrong. It’s the promotional part, the business side, playing the role of the rapper and going out to appearances, that’s what becomes stressful.”
Knock Madness was released in November via Funk Volume. Tickets to the tour can be purchased now at MyFunkVolume.com/tour.
