Indiana University released five new football helmet designs to the public this week. IU is keeping their original all-red classic design with the intertwined “I” and “U” (on the far right in the above photo). Among the new helmets is one that represents the state flag, has a shiny matte-red-and-silver colorway and boasts what might be the first-ever chrome facemask. The team reportedly will wear each of the new helmets at least once this upcoming season.
