You probably know that Kurt Warner, who led the St. Louis Rams to a Super Bowl victory in 1999, once played in the Arena Football League. But you probably didn’t know that he’s an alumnus of the University of Northern Iowa (you can thank us later when you win trivia because of that fun fact).
It explains why Warner was waiting in the tunnel for Northern Iowa’s basketball team after they took down Texas with an unbelievable half court buzzer-beater to advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday afternoon. Dressed in a purple polo, Warner was so hyped up that he jumped in the air to chest bump two Panthers players.

Warner gave the team a pep talk before they took the court, and it clearly worked. This just goes to show that no matter how old you are, March Madness has a way of turning you back into a little kid.
