Lamar Jackson’s High School Highlights Are Just As Insanely Awesome As You’d Expect
Lamar Jackson’s offensive output has been mind-boggling.
Louisville’s electric sophomore quarterback has already thrown for 1,625 yards and 14 touchdowns. That’s impressive. But things really get bonkers when you consider he’s also rushed for 688 yards and another 14 touchdowns. He’s a one-man scoring machine who’s capable of lighting it up from anywhere on the field.
Jackson’s been able to post ludicrous numbers while playing quality opponents like Florida State and Clemson. With that in mind, can you imagine how dominant he must’ve been in high school? Thanks to his Hudl highlight tape, you don’t even have to use your imagination:
Yep, that’s Jackson at Boynton Beach High School in Florida. He was basically like Bo Jackson in Tecmo Bowl if Bo Jackson had played quarterback. During his senior season, Jackson threw for 1,358 yards and 18 touchdowns while also totaling another 1,100 yards and 17 touchdowns on the ground.
The real question is why was he only a three-star recruit?
