LeBron James Spent Time in China Working Out With the Chinese U23 National Basketball Team
If there’s one person you’d want showing you how to take care of your body as a basketball player, you couldn’t do better than LeBron James (like, you know, Shawn Kemp). So when the Cleveland Cavaliers star made his annual trip to China this summer, the U23 Chinese National Team leapt at the opportunity for its players to work out with LeBron and see how the three-time NBA champion challenges his body.
During an hour-long session, LeBron took the young Chinese athletes through one of his typical off-season workouts, with moves that hit all parts of the body, from chest to core to legs. From balancing on a exercise ball with both hands in the air to executing a Dumbbell Push-Up to Row, LeBron didn’t take the easy route to breaking a sweat with his Chinese hosts.

After the workout, LeBron hit the court with the national team, which is made up of kids aged 13-19, to give further instructions on both in-game strategy and how to play better at each position—since he’s a freak and can flourish at every position on the court. You can watch video of LeBron’s visit below.
