Lil Wayne & T.I. Announce Summer Tour
Later this year, southern rap titans Lil Wayne and T.I. will embark on a tour, dubbed America’s Most Wanted Tour. Details are scarce. The information that is available was delivered through the following video clip:
[youtube video=”2nzFAnoTATw” /]Before an animated T.I revealed that the tour would kick off on July 5, Weezy said, “I’m still going on tour— America’s Most Wanted Tour—with some of my closest friends in the game. [And] speaking of my closest friends in the game, I got my n**** with me right here to elaborate on that subject.”
It is currently unclear how long the tour will last and where the stops will be.
In the clip, Wayne takes the time to thank fans for their prayers while he was at Cedar-Sinai in Los Angeles. “I just want to say thank you to all y’all for your prayers and y’all concerns and all that,” the Young Money leader says, at the start of the video. “I swear I felt that love while I was laid up in that hospital bed. But I want all y’all to know that I’m good.”
The forthcoming tour will promote Lil Wayne’s latest project, I Am Not A Human Being II. (After this album, Lil Wayne claims he’s retiring. Do you believe him?) T.I. also recently put out an album, Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head, which hit shelves in December and has already sold over 400,000 copies. He is reportedly already working on a sequel.
