MMG Releases New Mixtape ‘Priorities Vol. 1’
Maybach Music Group has dropped a new mixtape, MMG Priorities Vol. 1, introducing their latest additions, Tracy T and Fat Trel, and featuring collaborations with Scarface, J.Cole and Lil Wayne.
Highlights of the 16-track project include the long-awaited remix to Rick Ross’s hit single “No Games” and singer Omarion’s “Diamonds Hennessy.” Wale’s “Black Grammys” makes a comeback and Meek Mill’s “Dope Dealer” (from his Dreamchasers 3 mixtape) also makes an appearance. Newcomer Fat Trel offers up “She Fell in Love,” a solid entry as his first single for MMG. Unfortunately, fellow rookie Tracy T is less impressive on “16,” which also features a verse from Meek Mill.
The freebie comes on the heels of Rick Ross’s announcement that his sixth studio album, Mastermind, which was slated to be released this month, has been pushed back to 2014. Ross defended the delay during a recent interview with DJ Stream on the latter’s Hoodrich Radio show, saying, “I’m still putting the final touches on the album. You know me, making that classic is more important than anything. Making sure the streets are overwhelmed with what I am doing is what is most important. I’m trying to get it to you. If I don’t I’ma get it to you ASAP.”
