Ah, homecoming!—that special weekend when a college football team picks a weak opponent, crushes them on the field by some ridiculous margin, and then everyone goes out partying. The University of Nebraska is spicing up homecoming even more this year by debuting brand new alternate uniforms from adidas, which the Cornhuskers are calling “Red Rising.”

Nebraska players will rock these all-red threads, with metallic black and silver lettering and a giant “N” on the front of their jerseys, when they take on Illinois on Sept. 27 at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln. The uniforms celebrate the Nebraska football program’s 125th season. Check out more photos below.
