Under Armour has made a splash over the last few years with new uniforms for college football teams, especially with new designs for schools like Maryland, and for the Wounded Warrior jerseys they created for Texas Tech.
Now, UA is expanding its team uniform initiative to include one of the best soccer clubs in the world. UA has unveiled home and away kits for the Tottenham Hotspur football club’s 2012-2013 season, the company’s first deal with a Barclay’s Premier League team.
The new kits feature Under Armour’s temperature-regulation technology, like HeatGear, designed to keep players cool in warm weather, as well as ColdGear, STORM and AllSeasonGear.
Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy was excited about how the new kits turned out. He said, “Not only are they one of the most exciting brands in sports world, but Under Armour also has a reputation for performance and technical excellence, and this is demonstrated by the fantastic kit they have designed for this coming season.”
