Nike x Livestrong Holiday 2011 Collection Preview
Nike just released their 2011 Nike x Livestrong Holiday collection. Featuring several revamped favorites, the collection is now available in stores. Sales benefit seven-time Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong’s Livestrong Foundation.
One of the most anticipated shoes in the Livestrong lineup is the Nike LunarFly+ 3. The third edition of this popular lightweight running shoe has a breathable mesh upper, enhanced arch technology and Lunarlon sole cushioning for long-distance comfort. The LunarFly is a slick sneaker, with just enough distinctive styling to set it apart from the crowd.
Also updated and released is the Trainer 1.3 Mid. This shoe combines versatility and technology for the demanding cross-trainer who quickly moves from weightlifting to sprints. The Trainer 1.3 features high-tech Max Air cushioning to protect knees and feet through all types of workouts.
Next in the lineup is the Nike Woodside. A distinctive boxer-style boot, it provides great ankle support while rocking some serious style. Look for this slick boot on the streets—or on the trails—this coming winter.
By choosing a Nike Livestrong Collection product, you’re getting a great shoe and supporting an organization that has raised more than $325 million “to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.” Check out Nike’s online store for other Livestrong accessories and clothing in bold black with yellow highlights.
