Nike+ SportWatch Uses GPS to Track Your Runs
Looking for an easier way to keep track of your running sessions? The Nike+ SportWatch GPS may be just the tool you need.
After teaming up with TomTom, Nike developed a new workout monitor that goes beyond the traditional stopwatch. It keeps track of time, distance, pace, heart rate and even calories burned—and it can also track your route online via Nikeplus.com. The Nike+ SportWatch, using TomTom GPS and an in-shoe chip, maps your route online, showing your pace and changes in elevation.
When you are done with your run, simply take the watch off and plug it into your computer using the watch’s built-in USB device. You can then transmit your workout data to Nikeplus.com, where it will be stored for later analysis. You can view your last 50 runs and personal records, as well as join challenges and invite friends to running groups. The website also offers access to new training programs, the ability to set personal goals, and new running routes.
The Nike+ SportWatch enhances your performance by tracking your progress so you can focus on running to the best of your ability and surpass previous results. To learn more, visit nikerunning.com.
