New York Giants safety Antrel Rolle will be critical to his team’s success in Super Bowl XLVI this Sunday. Rolle, who was originally drafted as a corner, played in Super Bowl XLIII for the Arizona Cardinals, suffering through a last-second loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, 27-23.
Although he is roster-listed as a safety, Rolle played much of this past season as a hybrid linebacker/slot corner. He will be charged with helping to slow down the high-powered New England passing attack. In any match-up against Patriots QB Tom Brady, he will have to be ready for anything.
STACK caught up with Rolle on the red carpet outside Madden Bowl XVIII, and the hard-hitting defender shared some details about his diet, routine and mindset leading up to Super Bowl XLVI.
