Raise Awareness With adidas During Breast Cancer Awareness Month
We’re halfway through Breast Cancer Awareness month, but there’s still plenty to do.
In honor of the continuing struggle to raise awareness and garner support to find a cure, adidas is showcasing two running shoes in a pink colorway, symbolic of breast cancer awareness. Designed by runner Brie Felnagle and soccer player Christie Rampone, the shoes were created exclusively for women, and they are being sold through miadidas.com, which allows athletes to customize their designs.
The Supernova Sequence 4 (Brie Felnagle) is a “stability training shoe” with a focus on “fit, feel and transition.”
Christie Rampone’s version of the ClimaCool Ride lets “air flow from all angles.” The shoe also provides flexibility that will feel smooth and comfortable to any runner.
As awareness about breast cancer has grown, athletes have found ways to show their support for the women who suffer from the disease. STACK female athletes will want to consider these adidas kicks to show the colors and join the fight.
