Sport Should Be a Safe Place for Everyone. You Can Help.
At its essence, sport is a place where we can go to learn, grow, and thrive, both physically and emotionally. And no matter the ages of the participants or the level of competition, that place should be safe and free of abuse and other misconduct that can rob us of the joys and benefits of play.
The U.S. Center for SafeSport is the nation’s preeminent authority on emotional, physical, and sexual abuse and misconduct in sport. While the Center has direct jurisdiction over the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Movement, we put athlete well-being first by providing tools and training to help prevent misconduct in all sport settings.
The Center offers articles, podcasts, videos, and more to raise awareness of the importance of preventing abuse and misconduct. We also have important tools that aid in prevention, and leading-edge online trainings that are must-see for anyone with a role in sport.
Won’t you join our effort in creating a fun, fulfilling, and safe sport environment for all athletes? Stay connected by signing up for our email list, which includes our quarterly e-newsletter, “The Gameplan,” and following us on Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
