Not only does it give fans a little insight into your personal musical tastes, but hearing your jam as you prepare to face Clayton Kershaw elicits a chemical reaction in your brain that slows down time. It’s science, clearly.

For the hundreds of NFL prospects who will soon experience the first milestone in their pro football careers when their name is called by Roger Goodell at the Draft in late April, having their favorite song play as they cross the stage would be sweet icing on an already delicious cake.
