This Pair of Dwyane Wade’s Signature Sneaker is the Most Expensive Shoe in the World
Do you happen to have $4 million lying around in your basement safe? Have you always wanted to own a pair of shoes containing hundred of diamonds and sapphires? Well, you’re in luck. Lifestyle brand Bicion has teamed up with Dan Gamache, better known in the sneaker world as Mache Custom Kicks, to create the single most expensive pair of shoes in the world, a pair of Dwyane Wade’s signature Way of Wade sneakers by the Chinese brand Li-Ning.
A lavish blue and gold upper is outdone only by the hundreds of carats of white diamonds and blue sapphires set in 18k gold on the shoe’s heel, outsole, tongue and laces. The kicks, entitled the Way of Wade “Fire Monkey” to honor the Chinese New Year and valued at $4 million, will be officially unveiled in New York City later this week. The proceeds of the shoe’s sale will go to Soles4Souls, a non-profit that collects clothing and shoes for impoverished people around the country.
If you’ve ever wanted to tell someone that your feet are worth $4 million, now’s your chance.
