Tim Tebow Gets Another Shot In The NFL
The Jacksonville Jaguars are signing Tim Tebow, former Florida Gator National Champion, to a one-year deal as a tight end.

He's back, with a chance to make the team and help their locker room. <a href=”https://t.co/W2I4d3GmP6″>pic.twitter.com/W2I4d3GmP6</a></p>— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) <a href=”https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/1391821093451845633?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw”>May 10, 2021</a></blockquote> <script async src=”https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js” charset=”utf-8″></script>
This was truly breaking news as Tebow has been out of the NFL and football dating back to 2012. Since, Tebow has served as an analyst on ESPN and SEC Network and attempted a baseball career in playing for the New York Mets single, double, and triple-A teams.
If Tebow would make it back to the NFL, the pairing of Florida and Urban Meyer seems like the ideal situation. Meyer coached Tebow for three years and Tebow led the Gators to a BCS Championship in 2008 and won the Heisman in 2007. Let’s just say that both parties are quite familiar with each other.

Meyer and the Jaguars organization sure did one thing this off-season. Make the Jaguars must-watch TV. Number one overall pick and generational talent Trevor Lawrence will be at the helm, and he will have plenty of weapons to make a statement in his rookie campaign.

Lawrence to Tebow for the TD? Might have to get use to that one.
