Travis Kelce Reveals the Biggest Beast in The Chiefs’ Weight Room
When STACK caught up with Pro Bowl tight end Travis Kelce this past off-season, we watched him crush a pretty impressive weight room workout. The 6-foot-5, 260-pound tight end has a killer combination of speed, strength and size; but according to him, he’s not the biggest beast in the Chiefs’ weight room.
Nope, that title belongs to Justin Houston.
“[Houston’s] shredded. He’s a big guy. Weight-wise, he could freaking pick up a house. Explosive, can jump out of the gym. A guy that just wows you. Then of course he goes out on the field and manhandles everyone,” Kelce said.

Houston is certainly a good choice. The 6-foot-3, 258-pound linebacker hits the iron as hard as anyone we’ve ever seen. He spent this past off-season training at Rock Hard Fitness in Tucker, Georgia, an old-school gym that focuses more on performance than sleek aesthetics. When your daily workouts include Deadlifting 635 pounds, running up hills and pushing pickup trucks, you’ve got no choice but to be a beast.
We’ll be watching Kelce and Houston during the Chiefs’ playoff matchup against the Patriots to see if their hard work in the weight room translates to success on the field.
