UFC 121: Brock Lesnar vs. Cain Velasquez for the UFC Heavyweight Title
We’ve got chills about Saturday night’s Pay-Per-View event, where UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar (5-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) takes on the number one contender, Cain Velasquez (8-0 MMA, 6-0 UFC). Lesner, a former 2000 NCAA heavyweight wrestling championship, stands tall at 6’3″ and weighs a massive 285 lbs. He is by far the strongest, fastest and most athletic MMA fighter to step into the octagon. The undefeated Velasquez is a two-time All-American collegiate wrestler from Arizona State who earned a shot at the title through notable wins over Cheick Kongo, Ben Rothwell and Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira. Velasquez is said to have better cardio and endurance than any other heavyweight, as well as the most well-rounded collection of mixed martial arts skills in the division.
