WATCH: Indians Prospect Clint Frazier Breaks Bat Over His Leg in One Fell Swoop
The Cleveland Indians drafted Clint Frazier with the fifth pick in the 2013 MLB draft, and have since been grooming the red-headed power hitter to take a place in the heart of their lineup. After struggling during his first two seasons in minor league ball, Frazier blossomed in 2015, hitting 16 home runs and driving in 88 runs in 133 games for the Indians’ Single-A affiliate.

Now playing for the Double-A Akron RubberDucks, Frazier came into spring training looking extra buff. And through 12 games this season, Frazier already has a couple of dingers and seven RBIs. But an at-bat on Thursday didn’t quite go his way, giving Frazier a chance to show what else he can do with his newfound power.
After whiffing at a third strike in the 9th inning, Frazier took his frustration out on the bat, snapping over his leg with one swift crack over his leg. Striking out? Not good. Breaking a bat over your leg and terrifying the rest of the league with your feats of strength? Awesome.
