Watch LaMelo Ball Call His Shot, Then Drain a 3-Pointer From Halfcourt
While Lonzo Ball has the UCLA Bruins riding high as one of two remaining undefeated teams in college basketball, his two younger brothers, LiAngelo and LaMelo, continue to push the boundaries of the absurd at the high school level. The two have Chino Hill High School on a 47-game winning streak dating back to last season, and they could very well avoid losing a single game for two straight seasons.

We’ve touched on this before, but Chino Hills’ exhausting pace and guns-blazing offense, which gives the green light for shooters to pull up and fire away from virtually anywhere, creates a host of highlights after every game. But what LaMelo did in the opening game of the Rancho Mirage Holiday Invitational might be the most ridiculous one yet.

As he walked the ball up the court on a possession in the second half, LaMelo pointed to the halfcourt line as he approached it. At first, it looked like he was calling for a pick. But then LaMelo pulled up from that same spot and drained a 3 from halfcourt like it was nothing, and everyone realized that he was calling his shot.
In that same game, LiAngelo dropped 65 points, and the two Ball brothers consistently connected on full-court passes like the one above. Chino Hills might never lose a basketball game again. Pull out your popcorn, folks.
